Cindy oftentimes donates her time to assist in raising money for local organizations to fight   MS (multiple sclerosis) and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and has become an ambassador in spreading awareness about Batten Disease. She makes routine “Weather Visits” to schools throughout the area and has educated thousands of students about the weather over the years.

Born in New England, Cindy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Lyndon State College in Vermont. She is part of both the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association. Cindy has been honored with the AMS Seal of Approval for Television.
