Heather joined Channel 2 as a multi-platform journalist. Being the best host she won an Emmy Award in 2011 and another Emmy Award for best sports talent, in 2016. Catlin has traveled to several countries covering stories for WSB-TV, including; Italy, Canada, and England. Catlin is well suited for reporting abroad due to her dual citizenship in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

Previously before working for WSB-TV, she worked for FOX Sports, Greater Atlanta Area as a sports host and reporter from 2006 to July 2009. Heather covered teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference and hosted football and basketball preview shows for several Fox Sports networks. Catlin’s most memorable story took her to new heights—literally—as she went skydiving with Georgia Tech baseball player Chris House.

From July 2007  to  October 2007, she worked for Turner Sports on MLB.COM and NASCAR.COM as a host and reporter. Heather provided daily news updates and reports and hosted an interactive post-season MLB webcast for MLB.COM. She interviewed professional athletes and celebrities such as John Smoltz, Alyssa Milano, and Cal Ripken Jr.

Catlin began her television career at NBC Sports during its Olympic Coverage in the 2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy, as a production assistant. While attending school Heather interned at the CBS Late Show with David Letterman and even appeared on the show several times. As one who is a competitor at heart, Catlin participates in a variety of athletic events and triathlons.  In May 2009 Heather completed her first half Iron Man triathlon (finishing in just over 6 ½ hours) and in local events including the Peachtree Road Race and Thanksgiving half-marathon.
