Rossen serves as the chief national consumer correspondent at KETV based in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to working at KETV, he worked at NBC News where he served as a national Investigative correspondent and host of “Rossen Report” from May 2011 to January 2019.

During his tenure at NBC News, he was also a key contributor to TODAY, NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC, NBCNews.com, and mobile/digital platforms. Upon joining NBC News in May 2008, he started off by serving as a correspondent and landed exclusives on several high-profile stories including Robyn Gardner’s disappearance (2011), the Death of Michael Jackson (2009), and the Continental Airlines Flight 3407 crash (2009).
In October 2017, he worked as the author of his book, Rossen to the Rescue: Secrets to Avoiding Scams, Everyday Dangers, and Major Catastrophes. Prior to working at NBC News, he worked at WABC-TV based in Syracuse, New York where he served as an anchor and reporter from May 2001 to May 2008. He previously worked at WJBK (FOX) based in Detroit, Michigan where he served as a reporter from 1998 to 2001. He had previously spent 2 years working at WSYR based in Syracuse, New York where he served as a TV Reporter from 1996 to 1998.
Previously, from 1995 to 1996, he worked at WFXV (FOX) | WUTR (ABC) | WPNY (UPN) where he served as a TV Reporter based in Utica, New York. He kickstarted his broadcasting career working in radio at WBLI-FM on Long Island, N.Y. before transitioning to TV. Since he started his journalism career, he has won several awards and honors including an Emmy Award for “Deadline News Writing,” as well as honors from the U.S. Justice Department for his special report on crime victims.

Rossen was diagnosed with melanoma after he noticed a mole on his stomach for a while. He had the mole for a very long time and he decided to go for a check-up and that’s when he got the news that he had melanoma. He immediately started treatment did surgery and removed it all.
A few years later, he noticed a big mole on his forehead and after his wife Danielle convinced him to get it checked out, it was confirmed that it was skin cancer. He had to undergo Mohs surgery which was the most effective ways of removing skin cancer. Since his cancer experience, he started his own foundation named The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Big See which helps skin cancer with emotional, physical, and monetary support.
