There, she was able to sit down and interview former Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Senator Marco Rubio as they ran against each other during the primaries. While still at the station, Casey Anthony went on trial for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter.
In addition, she covered the trial gavel for Univision Network in addition to the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa. Just as George Zimmerman’s trial was about to get underway in Sanford. There, she took a job with the WESH-TV and covered portions of the trial. The story she will forever stick with her is a sinkhole in Seffner that literally swallowed a man when he was asleep. In addition, she was excited to have made her way up the East Coast to the Capital.
