His most notable tornado was on the 15 of May 2013. Mike was sitting in Granbury when the initial storm began ramping up. He recall the storm taking a “right turn” as it was about to produce a tornado and going directly over him and the city. It didn’t put down a tornado at that juncture thankfully but did over Lake Granbury. The view of the backside of the storm was something he will never forget. When not tracking storms, Mike serves as the Program Director at 94.9 KLTY.
