Sam Clemmett is a British Actor best known for his role in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as Albus Potter which aired in 2016. He has also appeared in the Netflix series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story which aired in 2023, as Young Brimsley.

His first audition was for Lord of the Flies and his acting debut was the role of Bill at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2011. Clemmett’s TV debut was guest appearances in Doctors on BBC One and Foyle’s War on ITV in 2013. In 2014, he played the role of Ernst in Nivelli’s War and as Ian Trenting in Accolade which he performed in 2014 at St James Theatre in London.
In the same year, he played the role of Mark in WINK and as Tom in Wendy & Peter Pan in the year 2015. Clemmett also appeared in the drama The Musketeers in one episode. It was announced in 2016, that he would star in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as Albus Severus Potter at the Palace Theatre. He continued with the role in 2018 at the Lyric Theatre. He starred in The War Below, a World War I film as Charlie MacDonald in 2021. In the same year, Clemmett appeared in the crime film Cherry. In 2023, he played the role of young Brimsley in the Netflix series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

He had an older brother James Sirius who was two years older than him and a sister Lily Luna who was two years younger than him. His name was given to him in memory of Severus Snape and Albus Dumbledore, who were Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’s former headmasters. Their relationship solely depends on the King and Queen’s relationship in that, as long as George (Corey Mylchreest) and Charlotte(Golda Rosheuvel) live in the same house, so will Brimsley and Reynolds.
