Prior to working at WCIV-TV, she worked at WMAZ-TV based in Macon, Georgia where she served as the morning and noon meteorologist from June 2009 to August 2011. She previously worked at WWAY-TV, LLC where she served as a weekend meteorologist from 2006 to June 2009.
Previously, from 2003 to 2006, she worked at KTAB-TV where she served as a meteorologist based in Abilene, Texas. Since she started her journalism career, she has covered a ton of extreme weather events including Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and the record-breaking rainfall and flooding of 2015. She also covered Hurricanes Florence and Michael, a snowstorm in 2018 and so much more. She has also won several awards and honors including the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation from the American Meteorological Society.
She often volunteers in her state and several charity organizations including the James Island Connector Run, the Race for the Cure, several local sprint triathlons, and the Cooper River Bridge Run. Moreover, she is an active board member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board.
