While still working at Norwalk Koppy worked as a personal finance educator for Employee Assistance Programs. Ted help employees improve their financial lives through onsite classes covering money management and financial planning principles, offered through employee assistance programs.
Prior to moving to Norwalk, CT, Ted served as a news anchor and reporter for WTNH-TV New Haven from October 2004 to May 2011. Before New Haven Koppy worked for KPHO Television from 2002 to 2004 as a morning and noon news anchor.
Koppy began his first journalism job at KDLT in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1991. Throughout his job, Ted has covered several memorable stories including President Bill Clinton’s State of the Union address on the heels of the Lewinsky scandal and reporting from Shanksville, Pennsylvania in September 2001.
