He joined the station in September 2018 starting as a weekend evening meteorologist. Prior to joining the station, he worked at KRCG in Jefferson City, Missouri where he started working as a meteorologist and multimedia journalist from May 2016 to May 2017. He later moved to morning meteorologist role working from May 2017 to September 2018. Prior to that, He worked at WGN-TV in Chicago, Illinois as a weather intern under Bill Snyder and Tom Skilling from January 2016 to May 2016. His duty was harvesting atmospheric model data and helping with the weather graphic production of Chicago Tribune.

Before that, he also worked as a weather intern at KMBC TV-9 in Kansas City, Missouri from June 2015 to August 2015. While at the station, he worked with Bryan Busby and Nick Bender, on-air meteorologists, and this helped him gain first-hand knowledge and exposure of graphic production and forecasting. Through the trips they made, he witnessed 2 tornadoes and many supercell thunderstorms. In March 2021, the American Meteorological Society gave Him the distinction of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. This shows how committed he is to effective weather and science communication. He discovered his love for weather when he was in high school as he was good in science and mathematics. He realized meteorology was an interesting career path combining those interests and applying them.
