Prior to joining the FOX 5 News team, she was working with KTHV-TV a CBS affiliate station in Little Rock, Arkansas. There, she was privileged to win an Emmy Award in the year 2013. She later joined the WAGA-TV team in Atlanta, Georgia in August 2016. There, she was serving as a Morning News Anchor.
She states that she is proud to be partnering with the Georgia Division of Family and Children’s Service in order to highlight a Wednesday’s Child on FOX 5. This is in the hope of finding them a forever family. Being a former foster child herself, she states that she knows the importance of adoption.
Eady has been actively involved with the Boys and Girls Club of America for about 23 years. She has traveled to Turkey and Germany in order to mentor children whose parents were deployed there. Asides from this, she has been awarded the Freedom Corps President’s Volunteer Service Award for 2,000 hours of community service. She was also invited to speak before Congress on how the Boys and Girls Club impacted her life.

Asides from her career in journalism, she is a beauty pageant. The year 2004 saw her win the title of Miss Teen Arkansas-America now Miss Arkansas’ Outstanding Teen in the year 2004. She has also performed in the Variety Act as a special guest during one of the Preliminary Competitions. This was at Miss America 2007 which includes her yodeling abilities.
The year 2010 saw her compete at Miss Arkansas as Miss South Central Arkansas and also won a Preliminary Talent Award and the Coleman Overall Talent Award at the pageant. Eady’s platform was the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and her talent happens to be in a variety of Acts. She can sing and did a ventriloquism to the song “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart.” This act, which also included yodeling, was named “daring and skillful” by The Washington Post.
Asides from this, she represented her state in the year 2011 in the Miss America pageant. There, she was privileged to be the first runner-up. In the competition, she was privileged to win $25,000 in scholarships. The year 2011 also saw him appear on the Late Night Show With David Letterman.
