She joined the KGO-TV team in June 2018 where she was working as a Freelance Reporter between June 2018 and October 2018 where she later landed her role as a full-time reporter. Previously, she was also working with the KCEN-TV in Waco, Texas Area as a Weekend Anchor and Weekday Reporter.
While she was still a little girl, her parents were waking up with the morning news and ended their day with the evening broadcasts. As she was still little, around five years old, she was not understanding what was being reported. However, she knew that men and women on news had answers, access, respect, and confidence, and she, therefore, set that as her goal.
Later on, in her adulthood, she moved to Casper, Wyoming. While at Casper, she held several roles. There, she was working as an editor, an anchor, a reporter, and a producer. She also fell in love with the “Cowboy State” and culture. While there, she was working with the KCWY team between May 2013 and September 2015.
Afterward, her journalism career took her to Waco, Texas, where she was working with the KCEN-TV team between September 2015 and June 2016. There, she was working as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist. Additionally, while there she was still holding other roles such as editing, anchoring, reporting, and producing. While still there, she covered a number of developing stories ranging from the Twin Peaks biker shootout to the West Fertilizer Plant explosion and contributed to the station’s live coverage of Baylor University’s alleged sexual assault cases.
She then later moved back to Denver, the Rocky Mountain region. There, she undertook the role to work as a Denver 7 Morning Reporter with the 7News team. There, she happened to cover the terribly cold winters, the Taylor Swift trial, among other issues impacting one of the most beautiful states she could ever call home.
She is very happy to be working among journalists she has admired in her entire life, for her, it is a dream come true. She also counts it a privilege to be telling stories about the people and places she is so incredibly passionate about.
