He got his start at the ripe age of sixteen years old when he served as a freelance reporter at FOX61. As part of the position, Goldman covered Connecticut Charities twice each week as the host of Ben Goldman’s Charity Corner. As a brain cancer survivor, Ben has strong ties to non-profits all across the state.
After his time at FOX61, he worked on weekends in Springfield, Mass. for Western Mass News. He also interned for various stations including NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and PIX11 in New York City. During his time at Nightly News, Ben was engaged in the special 2016 Election Night coverage.
Outside of work, Ben is a jazz pianist and an avid golfer. He was the Honorary Co-Chairman of the 2015 Travelers Championship for the effort he has done for other children and families battling pediatric cancer. He currently resides in Downtown Hartford.
