Prior to working at WMAR Baltimore, Cesar worked in Salt Lake City, UT where he was a meteorologist/weather reporter for ABC4 Utah (KTVX). During his time in the Intermountain West, he reported everything the Rockies could throw at him. These weather events ranged from a historic drought year and subsequent heat waves to the snowstorms that produce ‘The Greatest Snow on Earth and wildfires’ to the fifth wettest monsoon season that Utah has seen, which did include two tornados.

Prior to this Cesar worked in Pocatello, Idaho for nearly 2 years as the weekend meteorologist/MMJ and afterward moved up to weekday morning meteorologist. One remarkable event that Cesar reported in Idaho was the Labor Day Windstorm that brought wind speeds of almost 100 mph to the high deserts of the western Rockies.

While Cesar got his on-air meteorologist career commenced in the west, he worked as an intern at WMAR-2 News. A native of Bethesda, he is thrilled to be back in a place he called home for a little over three years. He is a huge weather nerd and can be frequently seen checking out the newest models and radar to see where the next major weather incident is occurring in the country. When he is not busy with the weather you can catch him watching football, baseball, soccer, or hockey game, hiking, or visiting the drink and food scene that Charm City has to offer.
