Prior to that, Mendoza worked at KIEM-TV in Eureka, California as news reporter and sports anchor September 2020 to January 2022. He produced the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts and also anchored, reported, and produced for sports.
While still working at KIEM-TV, Mendoza helped start a Spanish newscast for the station for both Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Before that, he worked as an intern at the Mountain West Network and Fresno State Radio. He is so excited to be a member of the KTVB news team and he hopes to make the station grow especially the KTVB en Español, and also share many stories with the community in both Spanish and English.
