Previously he co-anchored with Amy Kaufeldt on Good Day Orlando on FOX 35, from 2009 to 2016, where the two were named to several “Best Of Orlando” lists. Previously before coming back to Central Florida, John worked at KTVI-TV, FOX 2 in St. Louis, as an anchor and reporter and was named by the Missouri Broadcasters Association in 2020 as “Best Large Market News Anchor.”
John started working in 1999, at KSPR-TV in Springfield, Missouri where he was named the morning show anchor of a start-up newscast called The Morning Scoop. Afterward, in 2003 he was promoted to an evening news anchor where he served until 2004. After five years working at KSPR, Brown got the job as host of the nationally syndicated TV show The Daily Buzz, based in Orlando and seen in 150 cities across the country.
Brown later became an anchor and reporter at KTVI, FOX 2 in 2009. While there he also hosted “John Brown’s Mindset,” a talk radio show on KTRS-AM called. He is an avid runner who has competed in dozens of marathons and half-marathons. He enjoys golf, studying history, and warm weather.
