He eventually accepted a job at Sports Net New York as an anchor and reporter. In 2010, Kenny landed KITV in Honolulu, first as part of the morning news prior to becoming a primary anchor for the 6 pm and 10 pm newscasts.
Kenny has always been involved with his society. He served with the Boys and Girls Club, the Special Olympics, and other organizations. Kenny also served on the American Lung Association of Hawaii’s Council and is also part of the Asian American Journalists Association.
