Murrow award for reporting.

Apart from being an anchor, Kristine volunteers in countless ways in the community. In 2022, she was one of just five individuals across her parent company, Paramount, to earn the “Paramount Impact Award” for her community service, in part for the club she and her son commenced at his middle school to raise funds for the kids of Ukraine. She also served on the Board of Trustees for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre for a decade and has written about dance for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Kristine also is an involved supporter of the March of Dimes, Variety the Children’s Charity, and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

When not working, she enjoys reading, gardening, playing tennis, and enjoying Pittsburgh’s cultural institutions. She has studied dance since she was a kid and performed with dance groups for a decade.
