While in the station Molly was the first reporter on the scene of the Oregon District mass shooting and received an Emmy Award and several nominations for her reporting of 15 tornados tearing through the region in a single night. Reed also pushed for the changes that were made in the state’s children service’s department through her investigative reporting of a young boy who was killed after years of abuse.
