She is very engaged in society and in 2011 was nominated “Best Meteorologist in South Florida”. Julie also helps many charitable causes including the Girls and Boys Club, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and Breast Cancer Awareness. When she is not delivering the South Florida forecast, Julie and her husband David enjoy traveling with their son and consuming time outdoors with Stoli, their black Labrador retriever.
