Campos is a weekend morning meteorologist and reporter for WKMG. Before coming to Central Florida she worked in Eugene, Oregon at CBS Affiliate, KVAL as the Chief Meteorologist. Previously before moving to west, Candace began her career as the weather producer for over 5 years at WSVN-7 in Miami. Growing up in South Florida , she wait to get back to the Sunshine State.
Candace interests and passion for meteorology began at a very young age. Having experience with Hurricane, since she was a child Andrew sparked her desire to become a meteorologist, and continues to be the driving force behind her goal to educate, inform, and empower her viewers on all aspects of weather.
Campos is a member of the National Weather Association, and the American Meteorological Society. her work has been recognized by the National Weather Association and awarded the seal of approval by NWA. Away from her duty line Candace enjoys finding events and fun outdoor activities, baking homemade goodies, arts & crafts, and plenty of TV binge-watching with her husband and Maltese, Bella.
